Once i have the databases copied to a location on SQL server, how do i go about attaching them properly in 2000? Also, in sharepoint central admin, how do i go about pointing to the new database's?

MIgrating Sharepoint 3.0 WMSDE databases to SQL 2000 server
Currently I have Sharepoint 3.0 Services running the default setup locations for the content databases. I believe these are running the built-in WMSDE SQL engine and storing the data on the boot drive. I would like to be able to copy these databases to one of our separate SQL 2000 servers. I'm new at migrating SQL databases and configuring them, so any step-by-step guides on how to get these transfered and pointed in the right direction would be great.
