I am not sure if you can do it directly, but you can connect the libraries to Outlook and then open the libraries in outlook to forward them to whomever you like.

How to connect the liabray to Outlook?

I do not have access to my sharepoint site at te moment, but if my memory serves me correctly, navigate to the library, then Click on "Actions" tab and the click on the "Connect to Outlook" options.

That option is available only for Contacts.

What version of Sharepoint are you using?  I have v3.  Maybe it is your version or Office as well.  I tried it on a machine running Office 2007.  I will try it on a 2003 machine tomorrow morning.

If you open a document from your SharePoint site there is an option on the File menu to Send To . . . and then a number of options.  One of the options is Send To Mail Recipient as Attachment.  This will then open a new email with the document as an attachment and allow you to complete the details about who to send it to.

A slightly different problem is if you want to send a number of documents as attachments in the same email and I haven't found a way to do that!

Actually after I installed Outlook 2007, it shows me the new option Connect to Outlook in the document library. Thanks.

No problem

Actually, using Connect to Outlook does not answer the question fully.

Connecting the Document Library to Outlook creates a replica of the DL in Outook. This allows for offline working with DL content.
You can select a document or number of documents and the click Actions -> Forward as attachment.
However, you may not want all your users connecting critical DLs to their Outlook.
So it would be very useful to have the ability to Send to Email Recipient directly from the DL.

Anyone have any ideas?
