WSS 3.0 -> List does not exist Error

I have a WSS 3.0 site spun up and i'm getting the following error on two sites:

"List does not exist

The page you selected contains a list that does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user. "

If I use sharepoint designer, I can open the site and view the contents like normal, but when I browse to the site, I get the error.

Any ideas on what would be causing this?
