I have a single SSP that runs 3 site collections (we'll call the A, B and C). The anonymous access works fine on B and C, but not on A.
* In the central admin, the authentication provider on all 3 is set to allow anonymous access.
* All 3 of the sites themselves all anonymous to the whole site.
* All three websites in IIS (they have different urls) are using the exact same account.
Any idea why A isn't working?

It turned out to be a problem with the Application Pool account.
We had 3 sites all with different app pool accounts, one of them wasn't working. They all appeared to be identical (except for the different names).
Ended up deleting the account, re-making it and everything worked fine?
I wish I knew *why* that happened?
