SharePoint and InfoPath data connection to SQL

We have MOSS 2007 standard, so we do not have the Business Data Catalogue. I would like to create a infoPath form with a data connection to pull data from SQL 2005. If I then publish this to a SharePoint Form library, will the data connection continue to work? I assume I would need to create the data connection on the SharePoint server?

Is there any other way to get around not having the Business Data Catalogue to pull SQL data intoSharepoint (besides being a developer?)Start Free Trial
