Question

No icons associated with files

Currently I am not getting any icons to be associated with any files in both document libraries and within the search reasults. I have done some searching and found in every case it has to do with the docicon.xml file. I have copied this file from a known working sharepoint server and it is still not working. I checked to make sure that Mapping, Value, and OpenControl have caps at the begining. I have restarted IIS and rebooted the server. I'm running out of things to check.
   Any idea's on how I can fix this?

Nothing stands out, it start edmaking me think about permissions though so I will check into that. Keep in mind that none of the icons are showing, that is including the out of the box icons.

Permissions to the docicon.xml was the ticket.
