Browse All TopicsWe need software similar to Zeus ZXTM which can route visitors to the appropriate part of the app depending on the url they are browsing to.
In this case on this, web-platform all the separate web-sites/ sub-sites will be served by a single MOSS Web Application. This is primarily because we want a single instance of Web CMS (Content Management System) to be used for all web-sites. So there will be only one website under the IIS. All the public domain names will be referred to this website and the web-traffic manager will manage the URL redirection. We are not using it for load balancing purposes at least at this stage.
Can anyone suggest a windows friendly solution to this situation?
Thanks,
Mateen.

You can use host header to modify what address is used.
In the SharePoint Central Administration Web site, on the Application Management page, in the SharePoint Web Application Management section, click Create or extend Web application
On the Create or Extend Web Application page, in the Adding a SharePoint Web Application section, click Extend an existing Web application
There is Host header info where you put that address what you want to use.
Make this so meny times that you need.
Then In Audiences make group that will filter sites away when needed. That can be done in SSP >> Audiences
That will sure work only when Anonymous access is not used.
