So the sub-site must prompt for login but it should not have the windows authentication enabled but instead it must compare the login from backend system and then allow user... ?

Browse All TopicsI have my company's extranet which correctly requires a windows username/password to access.
I have created a new virtual directory within the "extranet site" on IIS that needs to be accessable without a windows username/password. The site is a backend to our ticketing system and I need clients to be able to access it but can't create windows accounts for all of them.
We have the back end setup and now are just trying to publish for external access. We cannot have Windows authentication window pop-up. Should we create another separate external web site to bypass windows authentication prompt and make anonymous login OR is there a way we can do this as sub-site on our extranet without windows authentication.
How can this be accomplished?
