SBS 2008 Accessing Internal Website (Sharepoint) not working outside of LAN

Hi,
We have installed a SBS2008 server and all is fine except accessing the Internal Website (Sharepoint) from outside of the LAN.
If from outside you goto the https://remotegateway.domain.net/remote address you get on the initial remote screen. From here both OWA and remote desktops work fine.
When you then try to authenicate onto the internal website (Sharepoint) it says "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".
When I look at the link it is trying to access it is "https://remotegateway.domain.net:987/"
If I manually add default.aspx to the end it works!!!! e.g. "https://remotegateway.domain.net:987/default.aspx"
Many thanks in advance,
Mike

Open the IIS7 console, open the sharepoint site, and then click the Default Document. In there, add default.aspx as one of the default docs. See if that helps.
