How can I assign the same account to the re-created user on the Sharepoint?
Please advise.

You Shoul use stsadm -o migrateuser command. It's for moving SharePoint user to different login.
08/06/27/u sing-stsad m-o- migrat euser-on-a -re-create d-account/
Create new user (different name in Active Directory) and use
STSADM -o migrateuser -oldlogin domain\oldusername -newlogin domain\newusername -ignoresidhistory
I'ts worked for me.
