Question
Patch KB972260 problems
When I install Patch KB972260 on my sharepoint server, I can no longer reach my sharepoint sites from that server. I get the server login prompt but it doesn't except my credentials.
I'm using:
MOSS
IE6
Server 2003
Hitting the sites from outside of the server works as expected. but on the server i get that log in screen, which i shouldn't be getting in the first place. I've removed and readded the patches, and got it narrowed down to this one, but haven't found anything similar online regarding this. Any ideas?

Update your IE to IE8 and make sure you have Service Pack 2 loaded.
