@next2perfect: I forgot to mention that I tried that and it says: "The list is too large to save as a template. The size of a template cannot exceed 10485760 bytes."

How to move documents library?
I need to move/copy a document library with documents and links to documents from one site to another (MOSS 2007). How can I do it without changing the date created/modified date for all of the items?

The error message you got, telling you that " I have the capability of holding 10 MB of data as template, But it is more than 10 MB So I can't do this operation..."

Doc lib settings -> Save it as a template -> Enable include content -> Save it as an stp file. Move it to the new site upload it.
You can also use explorer view but you will loose the metadata.
