Error using multiple filters with DVWP in sharepoint
wss 3.0
DVWP #1 is connected to three filters that allow the list to be filtered by Customer Name, City or State columns.
this works.
DVWP #1 is also configured with a connection to DVWP #2 (on the same page). in this connection, when the Customer Number is clicked, the data in DVWP #2 is filtered such that only records for that Customer Number will show.
this also works... with the exception that when the Customer Number in DVWP #1 is clicked, DVWP #1 then shows a generic error (DVWP #2 correctly displays the data associated with the Customer Number that was clicked):
"Unable to display this Web Part. To troubleshoot the problem, open this Web page in a Windows SharePoint Services-compatible HTML editor such as Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer. If the problem persists, contact your Web server administrator."
Sharepoint logs show a more specific error:
"Parameter Key is not set" at Microsoft.SharePoint.WebPa rtPages.Da taFormPara meter ... blah blah blah
this only happens if i use more than one filter on DVWP #1 before clicking on the Customer Number (example: filter by Customer Name and City and then click on Customer Number gives the error... but the problem does not happen if i only filter by Customer Name before clicking on Customer Number)
ideas?
