Sharepoint 3 default view question

Hello,

We use Windows Sharepoint Services 3 to manage workflow in our office.  A few days ago, the view on the project manager changed, and instead of seeing on the default.aspx a list of only open workorders, now the list is every work order ever entered.  Selecting "work orders" under "lists" on the left hand navigation bar displays the correct view.  Of course, no one knows how this happened.  How do I set this back as the default view everyone automatically sees?

ok so it sounds like the list web part that was originally set to a specific view on your main page was changed. You need to be able to edit the page to fix it.

Go to site actions > edit page, once done go the the web part and choose from the drop down arrow "modify shared web part", once the window opens on the right you should see a label that says current view, i think this is a drop down and you should be able to choose the view from that drop down.

Thanks.  I open my browser and see my project manager (I'm an admin).  I see "work orders", and see them all.  I select Site Actions, edit page, and inside the web part, I choose "edit web part", then modify shared web part and select "active tasks".

"Active tasks" view shows the following items to display- "Title", "Assigned To", "Status" and "Due Date", with a filter of "Show items only when the following is true"=Status is not equal to Competed.  

Yet this shows ALL items. :-(

on the actual list does it show the view correctly or is it wrong on the pag and on the list page?

try bring a second list webpart out on the page for project manager and try to configure that one with the work orders view like steve said and see if that one works, if it does just delete the other one.
