You can connect data connections to SharePoint lists (read) and submit to form libraries by just using the standard wizards in InfoPath.

To insert, delete, update a list is a bit trickier. You can use a CAML file.  You can learn more and see examples at www.infopathdev.com.

Hii Clayfox,
 Thanks for helping me.
I Created infopath form. and then i made datasource for sharepoint list. then i used section and drag and drop whole datasouce with reaping table. I am able to preview records. but i dont know how can i publish this form to sharepoint?
I want to open this form from sharepoint. And i just want to use for sharepoint list not for library.

Can you suggest me any easy step to create infopath form and publish for sharepoint list??

by: clayfoxPosted on 2009-11-05 at 10:19:37ID: 25752281

Just go to File and publish and follow the wizard to publish the form to SharePoint.
Go to file and tools and data connections
Add a data connection to submit to sharepoint and choose the library or have it create one.
Add a button for rules and actions and select the SharePoint submit

If you want to edit a list with an InfoPath form you need to follow the guidance I posted before.

Your submit button must be referencing another list. I would check to make sure that the URL used on your submit button is the correct library. Go to Tools --> Submit Options --> Manage --> Modify.

I will also check it. can you take a look for my another questions about Infopath. I am new for Infopath so i have so many questions.

On your InfoPath form go to File --> Publish --> "To a SharePoint server with or without InfoPath Forms Services. Push Next. Enter the URL to the site that you created for this form. Click Next. Select Document Library. Create a new document library. Give it a name. Give your field column values if you haven't already and then push next. Then publish. It should work when you click New from SharePoint. Hopefully that helps.
