Yes now only the administrator can login to the site, but all others can't.

If I login with my credentials as domain admin everything works fine, but for the users it doesn't. Nothing is different with the workstations. Any ideas?

when you try to add those users say to a permission group can you find them ? I would also try to run a profile import to see if i can pull them in. Also in central admin you could do a view profiles try to locate them there as well. Are all these users on the same domain? can these users see the portal from another workstation? Make sure you ve added the domain\domain users to the site collection readers group.
