Configuring blackberry mobile to exchange 2003/outlook

I have this Blackberry 8700g (internet service not enterprise) and we have exchange 2003/ ISA server.
How can I configure my exchange email to blackberry to synchronize emails
Presently our exchange is configured for external users like vpn, OWA etc and it is working fine.
But I tried to configure my exchange email with the internet site provided but I am getting a saying that cannot contact exchange server.
Please advise on this issue.
