How to open a port in ISA 2006
I need to open port 2187 for a user to connect to a webinar, but how do you go about opening a specific port in ISA?
Is this inbound from the Internet or outbound to the Internet?

Um, well I have a user connecting from within our network so I guess I don't follow which way would be specified, we need to connect to their site, so I'll say outbound to the internet.
OK - firstly - lets verify the ports.
open the ISA gui - select monitoring - logging - click start query
try the connection - what do you see appear in the logs? Is it just tcp 2187 being blocked?
Which rule says it performs the deny on - the default rule?

Well, funny thing is when I query it, the port 2187 is never listed. I'm getting blocked on a few things. The first I noticed is that I'm getting failed connections on port 443 protocol SSL Tunnel, and also a denied connection on port 8080 protocol http. I find this odd that these would be getting blocked. The rule that each of these pertain to is one we created to allow unrestricted internet access to pass to our web filter. I checked the web filter to make sure that wasn't the problem, but I can't find anything that's being blocked through it.

Can anyone explain to me the process of opening a particular port?
