ISA/OWA Deployment Page

We're running OWA 2007 behind ISA 2006. Everything works as far as I know. I've followed the MS article on how to publish OWA behind ISA. My question is this, whenever I go to the web site
https://mail.contso.com/owa, I receive the ISA 2006 login screen, not the OWA authentication screen.
Is this right? Everyone complains it's very, very slow to log in and I dont if it's got something to do with the way it's setup or is OWA that much slower. The OWA is a new server compared to the server I had 2003 on.
