The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

ISA dropping packet

Asked by Vision_Globale in MS Forefront-ISA, Windows 2003 Server

Tags: , , ,

Hi,

My ISA server is dropping packet while users going on the www.thoughtequity.com and looking at a video using Adobe flash player.
Here is an example of a link that doesn't work : http://www.thoughtequity.com/video/clip/177004_002.do
The movie is not showing.
I looked on ISA monitoring and saw the following :

Denied Connection
Log type: Firewall service
Status: A non-SYN packet was dropped because it was sent by a source that does not have an established connection with the ISA Server computer.
Rule:
Source: Internal ( 192.168.1.23:52073)
Destination: Local Host ( 192.168.1.1:51145)
Protocol: Unidentified IP Traffic (TCP:51145)

192.168.1.23 is my computer
192.168.1.1 is my ISA server

I have a rule that allow all outbound traffic from Internal & Local host to Internal & Local host.
I tried to access the web page with a computer without the firewall client = doesn't work
I tried to access the web page with different web browser (IE7 and firefox) = doesn't work
I tried to access the web page from a computer in another network (not behind ISA) = It works

So, it point to be a ISA problem.  It seems that the ISA server is not able to transfer the request to the external probably because he don't see an open connection established.  How can I bypass this?

Thank you
