The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Domain controller / DNS server can't ping external DNS.

Or anything else externally.  I think I set everything up correctly to forward DNS through ISA.  We have multiple DC's, all doing DNS setup in Active Directory Integrated mode.  From there we setup forwarders to be our ISP's DNS, and then set the default gateway to the ISA server's local IP.  Then on the Firewall Rules, I created an Access Rule that allowed our domain controllers to external on the DNS protocol.  So far I'm still getting the same result, as each ping request times out.

Any thoughts or insight would be very appreciated.Start Free Trial
