The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not?   • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. 0xc0040017 FWX E TCP NOT SYN PACKET DROPPED

Hello,

We seem to be having problems viewing certain websites.  Especially those hosted on Godaddy.  Possibly because of the location (America and we are in New Zealand), possibly because of the monitoring tools on those sites.
We have a hardware firewall then an ISA 2006 std. server protecing our internal network.  Trying to get to certain websites from our internal network just causes the page to time out.  I have noticed in the monitoring that traffic from the IP address of these sites is returning a lot of 0xc0040017 FWX E TCP NOT SYN PACKET DROPPED errors.

The guy who set up our external firewall has said that maybe there is a time out between the firewall and our ISA server.  Is this true?  If so how do I fix it please?
