I'm not asking for load balancing. I'm thinking that the solution might require a seperate firewall installation which would be unfortunate. I have two internal subnets. 192.168.1.x and 192.168.2.x. One is the internal network and the other is the wireless network. Both feed through ISA server to an external network which a dual T1 connection (3mb). The T1 is provided to us through a grant and is completely free of cost to us. The local cable company (Insight) has offered to give us a free high speed connection (10mb) to the Internet. I would like to have all the public access computers (approx 32 of them) feed through the firewall and out the cable companies connection and the rest of the computers feed through the firewall and out the T1 connection.
The firewall currently has a Surf Control installed which filters inapproperate sites which if I had to install on an additional server would require a seperate subscription, double the management, double the hardware, you get the point.
I"m required to filter staff and public access to the Internet so I can't just go around the ISA Server. Any ideas? I've read that ISA Server isn't multiple homed. I'm still hoping there's a work around.
The idea situation would be:
192.168.1.x Internal Network (Internal Clients -> some to external network and some to 2nd external network)
192.168.2.x Wireless Network (Wireless Clients -> path to 2nd External Network)
165.138.134.x External Network (Staff Computers / Published Websites)
64.105.147.x 2nd External Network (Public Computers)
I don't mind spending some money on the solution, especially if there is a software solution. I would rather not replace the firewall.
