Asked by hdgarmin in Live/Office Communications Server
We are running Office Communications Server 2007 R2 and using Office Communicator 2007 at the desktop. We noticed that "Missed Call" email alerts are generated and received consistently; however, "Missed Conversation" alerts are not. "Missed Conversation" alerts should be generated when someone attempts to IM you, but you do not respond.
My Question: What triggers the "Missed Conversation" email alerts?
Please give an example if you post an answer. The example should include details about what happens at the source and destination from the time the IM session is initiated in order to generate the "Missed Conversation" email alert. It should also include client dependencies, such as whether Outlook or OWA is required to be running at the time, what versions, etc.
