With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not?   • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. OAL Errors; 9109,9116,9331,9335 - Offline Adress List Problems

Hello together,
Situation:
Upgrade W2k Exch2k to W2k3 Exch2k3 SP2.
~520 Mailboxes

Old Server (Exch2k) was shutdown now. We've only this W2k3 Exch2k3 server now.
So it should be.

Problem:
Generating OfflineAdressList
Symptoms:
Outlook: Synch Error Message - 0X8004011B
Exchange Server Appliaction Log:  2 Errors by execute the Default-OfflineAdress List

OALGen encountered an error while generating the binpatch.oab file for differential downloads of address list '\Global Address List'.  Clients will not be able to incrementally update to the new version of the offline address list, they will perform a full download instead.  This is normal if this is the first time this offline address list has been generated.  Check other logged events to see if this is a serious error.

If i try to create a new Offline-Adress List and add the "Global Default Adresslist",

OALGen encountered error 80040107 while cleaning the offline address list public folders under /o=BUCHI/cn=addrlists/cn=oabs/cn=test2.  Please make sure the public folder store is mounted and replicas exist of the offline address list folders.  No offline address lists have been generated.  Please check the event log for more information.
