RPC over HTTP Authentication Problems

Asked by jraimondi00 in Microsoft Server, Exchange Email Server

Tags: , , ,

I am trying to setup RPC over HTTP on Exchange Server 2003 with SP2.  I have been able to successfully set this up before on other servers, but for some reason this installation isn't going so well.  I have followed the steps very carefully, and I am using an SSL certificate purchased from RapidSSL.  The problem is after I have setup the Outlook client, it keeps asking me for my username/password over and over again.  I am entering in the username as domain\username and then the password.  I have verified that I do not get any prompts when going to https://server/exchange, and I have checked that the user account is valid and I am using the correct password.  If I go to https://server/exchange and enter in the same username I am trying to get authenticated with in Outlook, it works just fine.  I am at a loss as to what to do now.Start Free Trial
