Dear Helper,
I'm in the crisis of needing help on Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 HDD is low. I will explain how my server installed below.
Currently I have all total 3 HDD partitions.
C: is for system partition.
D: is for where Microsoft Exchange data is located.
E: is where I setup a nightly backup and it is an external USB 2.0 HDD.
Currently D: is running very low which I have less experiene or knowledge in MS Exchange. The HDD space there is partitioned with 53Gig. We have roughly 90 email accounts. When the working days resume it seems the HDD is running sometime reaches 500MB of space left. I check the priv1.edb and priv1.stm they both equal to 20Gig but not sure where the other33gig are. Now I would like to know if it's good idea to both priv1.edb and priv1.stm to drive E: since this drive has about 200Gig available. If you think it is good idea, should I move both ebd and stm files or just move one away and leave the other the way it is? Also, please direct me to the proper way of moving these files to another HDD. I need to know if I have to dismount the drive before i move. Please help. The path where the ttwo files are located is below. Please help greatly appreciated!!
