Trust Relationship Between Domains

Zones: Microsoft Server, Active Directory

Tags: trust, between, relationship, domains

domain #1 = windows 2000 server
domain #2 = windows 2003 server

domain #1 is on the same network as domain #2 via site to site vpn
i try to access a resource on domain #2 from domain #1, but after inputting the domain #2 administrator username/password i get a message about there not being a logon server available to access the logon request. i'm assuming there needs to be a trust relationship established between the two domains, but i am unsure about how to set it up.

how do i access a resource on domain #2 from domain #1 without getting an error?
