LDAP address book Outlook

I have server 2003 / exchange running.  How do I determine what I need to set my LDAP settings on a POP3 outlook client?  I know that I need to set my port to 3268 and I need to set my Search base options to dc=server, dc=com.  I guess what I am asking in general is where I go to get access to all LDAP settings on my exchange server box.  Things like what my server name is (and what form it needs to be in... alcsrv6.alcpartner.com or ldap://?).  Any info would be good to get me going in the right direction.

Is this supposed to be accessed Externally?

Yes.  This would be using a regular Outlook 2003 Client (POP3) to connect to LDAP directory service.  We have OWA setup and of course the address book works on this (ctrl-k).  I am unsure how I can find the information (from the exchange server or system manager) needed to connect externally to the LDAP.

This is a little starting point, but I tried inside my network (3268 is not exposed outside) with wab and  "Adding a new directory or address book"  in outlook2003 and everithing work.

I would have to insist that you not expose your LDAP directory to the outside world.  Instead you should configure RPC over HTTPS for external access to exchange using an Outlook 2003.

Exposing your AD to the outside world is a really bad idea.
