Need to reboot a Windows 2000 Server remotely but can't Hung! Have telnet access

I am trying to remotely reboot a Windows 2000 server that is hung, but I do have a telnet login window.  I have tried all the following to no avail.  Help!

shutdown.exe, psshutdown.exe, devcon.exe, wizmo.exe  .   I have even used process.exe and killed of most all the hung processes and still can't reboot.  If I can't get the machine reboot I will will have to fly out and fix it tomorrow.  Please help.  Again, I have telnet access to the machine (windows 2000 server) and at that prompt I get ftp files onto the machine and run them as long as they don't require any input.  Just FYI.  Beyondexec will not load.  I have tried it.

You can't always re-boot a machine remotely and this may be one of those cases. Caution is required even if you can - a disk left in the drive for example may been that the machine fails to restart.

Bummer.  I downloaded the bang.exe file and ran it on the box (via telnet session) and nothing happened.  I assume it is because the bang.exe file above launches a gui and is waiting for someone to push it (which I can't because I don't have gui access).  per docs:
To use BANG, simply execute BANG.EXE from a local (that is, a non network) disk.  The dialog box show above will be displayed.  To crash the system on which BANG is running, click on the big red button that says "crash now".  If you do NOT want to crash your system, click on the "Never Mind" button.  The system will be crashed within a second or two with the crash code 0xDEADDEAD.

any programs that run from a command prompt and actually crash the box without having to push a button?

Can connect to that computer through computer management.If so right click on COMPMGMT gogto properties ->advanced->startup&recovery settings->shutdown.See if this works.I normally do this.

Damn.  No good.  I had to flyout and shutdown the machine.  Total cost $572.00 what a bummer.  If it was a linux box a simple sync;reboot would have trashed all and rebooted.  Sometimes I absolutely hate windows.

I would like to award 250 points to jkr but because this was urgent and none of the ideas worked then that is all that I would like to award.  Everyone agree?  If so, can someone please close this and subtract the 250 points from my account.  If someone would have given something that worked remotely then the 500 points would have been happily credited.
