Server A is Windows 2003 Exchange 2003 Standard, Server B is a Windows 2003, Exchange 2003 Enterprise Svr. Same site, same administrative group.
Upgrading server and doing homework on the public folder migration piece. In referencing this article, KB 822931. It makes the public folder migration piece seem pretty easy, but there are a few items I wanted to clarify on as I want to keep the source server up so that all of my Outlook Clients can re-home over the course of a week or so.
1. On the source server, once I've confirmed that the public folders are In Sync, and remove the replication to Server A, will the users on Server A be able to see the public folders that have replicated to Server B?
2. Is that true that once I've replicated all of the public folders from Server A to Server B (and have backed up the public info. store), that I should then take the public info. store on Server A, offline and delete it?
3. What are the most common issues that prevent people from successfully replicating public folders?
