file is corrupted in user profile, cannot delete and cannot copy profile

Greetings,

I have a problem with a user logging on and her profile cannot copy properly from the server.  There is a file on her desktop that cannot be copied from the server to her local profile.  When I try to delete it from her desktop folder in her profile I get the message " The file or directory is corupted and unreadable"

So the problem is that her profile on her computer is messed up.  So I think the smartest thing is to try to delete that file from her desktop folder and then copy her profile again.

Can anyone tell me how to delete that file?

Thanks,
