High Disk Usage

Asked by mboppe in Microsoft Server, MS SQL Server, Windows 2003 Server

We have windows 2003 server which act has our public DNS server and SMTP mail filter.We are using Mail Marshall as our mail filter.
On this server have disk performance issues and at times takes like 16 hrs to process the pending emails.This normally happens if the Spam filter service stops on the weekend for unknown reason.We are using SQL MSDE database for Mail marshall.
The server specs
HP DL 360 3.06GHZ 2GB Memory and 2x300gb disks Mirrored as C drive.

Any suggestions on how best I cn tune this server from both mail marshall point o f view and SQL database to get better disk performance.Start Free Trial
