Windows Server R2 Questions

Asked by tarkmyler in Microsoft Server, Windows 2003 Server

Tags: Microsoft, Windows Server, 2003

I am wondering what it takes to make Windows Server 2003 work with R2 specific features.  For example if I want to use replicated DFS can I modify the schema with R2 version of adprep and use a non R2 server and an R2 server?

Or do I need to convert the non R2 server to R2?  If so, how is the done?  Do I have to install a new version of the OS or is there another way to "convert" non R2 OS to R2?Start Free Trial
