Monitor muliple networks
Zones: Server, Network Management
I am currently managing 5 sites. I am looking for a system that can monitor everything ont he network and send me realt time reports as well as status of what problems are going on the network from my office. I do not really want to purchase a maged service platofrom. Anyone have any suggestions.

You would need a Linux box on each site, but it can monitor windows boxes. Fairly simple & works OK.

My suggestion would be to see if Sysaid would do it for you. Have a look on www.ilient.com.

It monitors hardware and it will place an incident on your screen if something is outside your threshold. It's easy to setup and free to use. We use it..support is great. They also communicate through MSN Live!!

If you want this to be integrated in AD and SQL? You can! Have to pay 'bout 500 euros for it.

It helped us with our monitoring system. We have a multiple sites setup and works great.
