We have an ISCSI SAN deployed accross three servers in our organisation using the subnet 192.168.40.X, all our workstations use the subnet 192.168.20.x.
The problem is that when cleints are accessing the server via name occasionally the DNS server returns the ip address of the NIC on the iSCSI network (which the clients cannot reach) and the cleints timeout.
I have tried unticking the box that says register with DNS on the nic attached to the iSCSI network and delete the auto-generated A record, but it seems to get re-created every time.
Any Ideas on how to prevent this?
