How do I hit ctrl-alt-break, for RDT in a window?

Somehow, I accidently had all my RDT sessions in windows instead of full screens.  And all nicely-sized windows at that, with each window showing the full screen of the remote computer, from taskbar all the way to the top of the screen.

I don't know how I got into that situation, but I read somewhere how to get back to full-screen, using ctrl-alt-pause.

Now, I would really like to get back to those nicely sized windows, but ctrl-alt-pause doesn't take me back there!  It takes me from RDT-full-screen to RDT-in-a-window, but the RDT session in the window is NOT correctly sized.

I searched EE and found this:

https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/22874050/Switching-remote-desktop-between-full-screen-and-window.html?sfQueryTermInfo=1+desktop+full+remot+screen+window

which incorrectly suggests ctrl-alt-end (which is actually sending a ctrl-alt-del to the RDT session), but it did provide a link to this:

http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/archives/000570.html

which says that ctl-alt-pause gets you an unsized RDT window

and ctrl-alt-break gets you a CORRECTLY SIZED RDT window

My problem is, with all my Dell keyboards, the Pause and Break key are the same key, with a line drawn between the Pause and the Break, suggesting that there is somehow a way to toggle this key between pause and break.

I haven't found the way.

I'd love to be able to send a ctrl-alt-break to my RDT sessions and get back to my nicely sized windows which SOMEHOW I stumbled on accidentally a few days ago but now can't return to.

Thanks for any help anyone can give me on this.

Pause will be written in white colour and break in Light violet colour. If u will press directly pause will work if u press it with 'Fn' key (next to left Ctrl key) break will work. All light violet coloured keys work while presiing with Fn key

Across the bottom of my keyboard:

Ctrl Windows Alt Spacebar Alt Windows MenuKey Ctrl LeftArrow DownArrow RightArrow 0 Del Enter

(MenuKey pops up a little onscreen edit menu, copy, paste, etc.)

I don't see any "Function" key.

ok I told according to my laptop. Have u just tried pressing CTRL+ALT+PAUSE/BREAK without worrying abt pressing break
CTRL+ALT+PAUSE/BREAK toggles between RDT fullscreen and RDT windowed, but the desktop in the window is not correctly sized

CTRL+ALT+PAUSE/BREAK  acts exactly as CTRL+ALT+PAUSE as described here:

http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/archives/000570.html

what I need is CTRL+ALT+BREAK

and evidently I somehow did it by accident but now I can't duplicate it (and I've hit a LOT of key combos!)

Using the virtual keyboard gives the same result.
I finally hit on what I originally did to get the sized window:

Use RDT to connect to a computer.  Then use either the resize box in the upper right or the ctrl-alt-pause/break key to put the RDT connection into a window on the local computer.

Then,  drag the lower right corner of the window down and to the right as far as it will go.  It will give you a sized-window that you can see from top to bottom but still operates like a window on your local desktop (you can use alt-tab to go back and forth to it, for example).

That's it.  Thanks for your help.  Especially the virtual keyboard.  I never knew about that.
