Restore Microsoft Exchange from an Offline Backup of only Priv.edb and Pub.edb

Asked by cridog in Microsoft Server, Exchange Email Server

Tags: , , ,

I have a backup of only the priv.edb, priv.stm, pub.edb, and pub.stm.  That is all I have from the previous Exchange Server.  I created a new Exchange Server with the same domain, same server name and same default Exchange install stuff.  When I copied the files to the same Program Files\Exchsrvr\MDBDATA folder I started the services and all is well.  When I try to mount the store I get the error:  C1041724.  An easy fix is appreciated.Start Free Trial
