help with windows VPN tunnel

there is a server that I am working on and it had a motherboard replacement. After the replacement I now can not get the vpn endpoint to work. This server is the endpoint for a Microsoft vpn and one client on the outside connects to it. when I do an IP config I get an apipa address rom the ppp connection. I do not see anywhere to fix the vpn problem

Might be something wrong with the network card. You said the motherboard was replaced? Did this also replace the network card as a result? And if so, was the server network card set identically as the last one was? Same IP, Subnet, Gateway etc. And have you confirmed you have network/internet access from that server?

Sorry if that seems like basic stuff, just wanted to rule it out. If that is good then I would try looking into RRAS next. You may need to recreate the interface.

Some how it says that some of the network adapters are not istalled and they are hidden. I guess that I can use a watchguard firewall to make the tunnel
