How do I figure out why this server isn't showing any purchased licenses?

The product Windows Server is out of licenses.
My company keeps receiving alerts from our monitoring service that this server in question is out of licenses. However when I RDP into the server to see history on the purchases of these licenses, there isn't any history. Also I checked the event viewer just to see if there were any weird errors that may be causing this and the system was loaded with Event ID 12292. I'll attach screen shot of this as well. But I'd like to know if this licensing error is being caused by this error or if the company just never purchased any in the first place.

As far as licenses are concerned, they may have bought the licenses and just never installed them on the server. As long as they have the paper copies that prove they purchased the licenses they will be ok.
