I am trying to get DFS Management to run on Windows 2003 R2 Standard when I un-install and re-install dfs same result. When I un-install, re boot server and re-install dfs same result. The answer I intially found through a web search suggested un-installing and re-installing DFS this has not worked

Try the following:
1) Uninstall DFS through add/remove programs
2) Run setup2 on second R2-disk
3) Re-install DFS through add/remove programs.

The issue ended up being a lack of disk space in the server that was not working, As a result dfs will stop working.
