The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

TSL setup and configuration

I am currently trying to allow more than two conections to my server at one time. i have purchaced 5 TS Licenses, and am stumped with how to go about installing them to do what i want them to do. We curantly have two servers in our network. One is our front-end server, and the other is our database server. On our front end server i have install TSL and started to go threw the process of installing my licenses. When it prompts me for per user, per device licencing mode they are very vague on what exactly the difference is? Also if i install these licenses on my Front-end server will this only allow 5 conccurent conections on that server? or on all servers/computers joined to its domain? If not what whould be the best practice for splitting this single license up so i can alow lets say 2 aditional on my front end server, and three on my database server? Overall i want my end result to ether be A) alow more conections at once to both servers with the License i have purched or B) Install them all on my databse server (What steps would i need to acomplish this? Install TSL on that server or do it form my Front-end server?).

Thanks in advance for all you help.Start Free Trial
