I have no problems printing to my printer locally when i am not trying to print from a program within Remote Desktop.
I can only print when another user is logged in to the server
It looks like the other computer is sharing my local printer when she is logged into the server, when she disconnects from the server i cannot print to my printer through my Remote Desktop connection
Any suggestions would be appreciated

well considering this printer had a network card in it i decided to add it to the network, i installed the drivers and shared the printer from that server and was able to get this printer working on all the users desktops in the office however when i browsed to the printer on the other local server and install it appears to install fine but i am unable to print to it because when I try to print something from the server in Notepad for example i cannot select the print button because it is grayed out, not sure what the heck is going on? I need to be able to have it on this server and work because this is the server that i RDP INTO to print reports from the program that is running on it
thanks

You'll need to install the drivers for the USB printer on your workstation onto the terminal server, as described in the accepted solution here: http:Q_21765010.html
A workaround would be to share your printer on the network, then connect to it that way, i.e. add it as a network printer in your TS session.
Hope this helps
