query regarding Win2k3 Terminal server- RDP TCP properties-session settings

Hello,

I have newly build windows 2003 server and I am trying to configure Terminal Server Configurations\connections - RDP TCP properties - Session Tab settings, I am not to able to configure "Allow Reconnection:" (From any client or From previous client) settings were disabled, I would like to know the reason behind this & i would like to enable this option. Please suggest me on this.

Thanks for your response, Your are genius. Thanks a lot.  I am 100% satisfied with your solution.

I am interested to know the reason why the "override user settings" Check Box for "Allow reconnection"  is disabled in RDP-TCP properties/session tab menu, where as i am able to select the "Override user settings" check box for rest of the two.

i can only assume those other settings are not overridden in group policy.  here are the group policy settings as they relate to the Session tab settings all located in...

computer configuration
-administrative templates
--windows components
---terminal services
----sessions

Set time limit for disconnected sessions Not configured
Sets a time limit for active Terminal Services sessions Not configured
Sets a time limit for active but idle Terminal Services sessions Not configured
Allow reconnection from original client only Not configured
Terminate session when time limits are reached Not configured

Thanks for your response. None of the settings were configured in local group policy, everything is not configured. Pls find the snapshot of the same.

looks like its not supported....

You can use this setting to prevent Terminal Services users from
reconnecting to the disconnected session using a computer other than the
client computer from which they originally created the session. By default,
Terminal Services allows users to reconnect to disconnected sessions from
any client computer.

Important: This option is only supported for Citrix ICA clients that provide
a serial number when connecting; this setting is ignored if the user is
connecting with a Windows client. Also note that this setting appears in
both Computer Configuration and User Configuration. If both settings are
configured, the Computer Configuration setting overrides.

Thanks a lot for your response. I have already read this in windows help, My question is why this option is not applicable to windows client.
