I was always taught that RDP was much more secure over a VPN and in a recent discussion with a colleage he said the RDP was fine by itself. I am trying to talk the boss into investing in a better firewall and an SSL-VPN unit but my friend tells me this is a waste and just go with terminal services (RDP) directly over the internet. This stinks because I really was looking forward to using the SSL device but if it's not necessary....????
I know this may not be an actual "question?", but I would appreciate any advice from someone who knows the ins and outs of VPNs and Terminal Services.
