Vista Business Remote Desktop "error in licensing protocol"

Asked by stobber2001 in Remote Desktop/Terminal Services, Windows 2000 Server, Windows Vista

I am setting up a new client on a windows server 2003 network. On the network I have a terminal server running on a windows 2000 server. When I try to connect to the terminal server using the vista remote desktop client I get the message: "The remote computer disconnected the session because of an error in the licensing protocol." I have tried deleting the MSLicensing key in the registry and I have tried the enablecredsspsupport:i:0 fix in the default.rdp file. No luck either way. XP clients connect to the terminal server perfectly. Any ideas? Start Free Trial
