New users cannot store items on the desktop or make changes to settings

I just installed Windows 2008 and terminal services on a new server. The server is also running as a Domain controller. The default administrator account does not have any issues. When I create additional accounts and login under those accounts, any new files I create on the desktop disappear when I logout and login again. Also, any settings I use to personalize the desktop also disappear. The same thing happens when I login via Terminal Services.Start Free Trial
