We have a Windows SBS 2003 server which we are unable to connect to using terminal services. Everything had been working until about 5 days ago. No software or updates have been installed. After rebooting the machine terminal services will work for a short time and then quit. When connecting we get the following almost immediately before any connection is established:
Your Remote Desktop session has ended, possibly for one of the following reasons:
The administrator has ended the session.
An error occurred while the connection was being established.
A network problem occurred.
There is no indication or errors in the event viewer. A netstat shows that port 3389 is listening on the server:
TCP 0.0.0.0:3389 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING 5576
Please advise as soon as possible. Note: the clients and server are on the same local area network and no firewalls exist between clients and server.
