Question
Application installation continues after restart. Does INSTALL mode matter?
I have a Windows Server 2003 R2 Terminal Server. I am installing an application via Add/Remove Programs. As it should I get the Finish button that I am supposed to press when the installation is complete. However, this, and many programs, run final installation procedures after a reboot. I don't know any way to make the INSTALL mode persist through the reboot process. Is this a concern? If so is there a resolution known?

when the application starts the post-reboot process, the first step of that process is switching into install mode. you do not need to worry about this as long as you properly switch to install mode when starting the initial install process.
