Asked by Purple_Tidder in Remote Desktop/Terminal Services
I have an application (GeoGraphix) that uses some extremely stupid licensing techniques. I need to be able to use the program thru Remote Desktop (Terminal Services) on an XP machine. If I start the app from the physical machine then login through Remote Desktop, it works fine. But if I try to start the app from within my Remote Desktop session, it errors telling me it cannot run in a terminal session. How can I hide from it the fact that I'm running it in a terminal session?
The way I have it set up currently is I have the user login to a different machine on the network, use RealVNC to get to his machine and start the program, then RDP into his machine. I'd like to get rid of these steps. Possible?
